Advisor

Camille Solberg is currently the Legislative Director for Intercessors for America. Most recently, she was a Special Advisor for the Bureau of Democracy, Development, and Innovation at the United States Agency for International Development. She was also on detail and served as the Special Assistant to the CFOI Senior Advisor to the President at the White House. Prior to USAID, Solberg was a Regional Director and Minority Outreach Coordinator for the United States, Senator Ron Johnson. She has also served as a Freelance Journalist and Radio Broadcast Communicator. She has served on numerous boards in Wisconsin and was appointed by President Bush as a Commissioner to the Federal Drug-Free Communities Board, Washington, D.C., 2005 - 2007. Recently, Governor Glenn Youngkin appointed Mrs. Solberg to the Virginia Commission to Combat Antisemitism.

Camille earned a Master's Degree from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She is married and the mother of four children.

BOARD MEMBER

Don is married to Lisa and has two grown children and four granddaughters. He has had a successful real estate business for 42+ years and has served on many business and community boards over these years. His service on the non-business boards has been his most rewarding. Along with his work of building the Virginia Christian Alliance and the Council for Biblical Principles, Don continues to grow his business and represent Henrico County on various boards. He is a member of a local Baptist church and has traveled overseas on seven church mission trips.

BOARD MEMBER

Lisa Operates and Manages their Real Estate Company, Blake Management Group, Inc. in Richmond Va. Lisa previously served five (5) years on the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond Board of Directors and also served two (2) years on the Missions Committee at her Church. Lisa became a supporter of Bibles In Schools shortly after learning of its inception in 2019. Lisa is very excited to be a part of Bibles In Schools and God’s plan to ensure that His Word reaches everyone throughout the USA and the World!

Lisa resides in Glen Allen Va. with her Husband, Don, and is a blessed Mother of two (2) adult Sons and two (2) wonderful Daughter in Laws.

BOARD MEMBER

Dr. Angus was educated at Davidson College then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Medical College of Virginia. After graduation from Dental School, he practiced for 3 years as a Captain in the U.S. Army where he performed general dentistry. He opened his practice in Salisbury Village in 1974 and since then he has taken thousands of hours of continuing education, enhancing his skills in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, sedation dentistry, and oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and snoring. Dr. Angus recognizes that compassion, comfort, and exceptional care are the most important parts of his work.

Dr. Angus donates his free time to many dental missions. He believes in giving back to the community by volunteering at the Goochland Free Clinic. He serves in international Christian outreach dental missions, and donates dental care for those in need in the Appalachian region.

Dr. Angus and his wife of over 40 years, Cheryl, are natives of Richmond and live in Midlothian. He practices dentistry with his brother, Bill Angus, son F. Lee Angus Jr., and daughter, Rebecca Angus.

ADVISOR

Cyrus was born and raised in the Central Africa Republic. He has been married to his wife Julie for 32 years. They have have three children, Becky, Michael, and Irene (who went home to be with her Lord in September 2008), and two grandsons. He served at the American Embassy in the capitol of Bangui until 1994. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration and International Affairs in 1998 and then earned an MBA from Liberty University in 2006. He was the pastor of Struthers Baptist Tabernacle in Ohio, until 2008, then joined the executive team at World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of people in impoverished communities around the world (based in VA).

As the product and beneficiary of the Great Commission it is an honor to further Gospel of our Lord and Savior. In my role of Mobilization Pastor of Global Outreach at McLean Bible Church, I count it an honor to equip well, send well and care well for all our sent missionaries to go and make disciples of all nations, not just in the greater Washington DC area, but around the globe.

Ashley Kelly is a Christ follower, wife, mom of three, and business leader. With degrees in Communication Studies and Counseling, she has been highly involved both in businesses and also ministries throughout her career. Leading teams at Pure Flix Entertainment, counseling clients at a Christian counseling center, serving as a regional director on Alliance Defending Freedom's Church and Ministry Alliance team, and most recently operating as the COO of a fitness software company, she has a passion for people and making an impact on communities around her. She grew up in the church and was greatly impacted at a young age by learning and accessing Scripture, so she understands firsthand the mission behind Bibles in Schools and the power of God's Word.

Ben is the proud husband to Ashley and the lucky father to their three children, Eliana and Keiden. He is the CFO and Co-founder of Fit Pro Tracker, a fitness software company and the Director of Transformational Partnerships for Alliance Defending Freedom, the world's largest Christian legal non-profit defending religious liberties. Ben is a former Army Military Intelligence Officer and is an active angel investor in disruptor companies in the energy and health care sectors.

Ben is passionate about his faith and living his life to the fullest to glorify Jesus Christ.

Finn Laursen is currently serving as an Educational Consultant for Christian Educators Association International. CEAI (www.ceai.org) is a professional association for Christian Educators in both the public and private schools.

Prior to serving for 14 years as Executive Director of Christian Educators Association, Finn was a public school educator in Ohio for 32 years: teacher, ; high school counselor, high school assistant principal, high school principal, and the last 11 years public school superintendent.

Over the past 20 years he has traveled around the country as a speaker and trainer about legal freedoms in our public schools. He has presented in such venues as the National School Board Association Conventions, State Administrators Association Conventions, as well as provided training for ministry leaders in ministries such as Youth For Christ, First Priority, Young Life and Sports World.

Finn has testified as an expert witness for educators in local and federal court and led CEAI as a plaintiff in the Friedrichs vs CTA recently heard at the US Supreme Court attempting to stop forced unionism.

Susan McPherson is an Author Acquisitions Editor at David C Cook Publishing whose mission is to equip the church with Christ-centered resources. She loves her work with authors and most recently worked on “The FAITHFUL Project”, a partnership with Integrity Music and Compassion International, bringing authors and music artists together to write a book, songs for an album, and tour together at live events across the country. Susan’s role also includes working with ministry partners to help them meet the needs of the people they serve through resources likeThe Action Bible which is how she connected with Bibles in Schools.. Susan has been serving in ministry for over 22 years and her passion for leading and connecting Christian women inspired her to create God Girl Nation where she and her team encourage women to serve God with contagious joy. She loves Jesus, coffee, and the Hallmark channel along with her life in the Nashville, Tennessee area. She has been happily married to her hubby for 30 years and they have three grown children they adore.

Roena is a graduate of UVA School of Nursing and VCU’s graduate nursing program. She worked at UVA Medical Center with children with cancer and their families before moving back to Chesterfield County in 1991. She and Dwayne have three sons, and one grandson. She currently teaches at Mary Baldwin University, John Tyler Community College and Richard Bland College of William and Mary. Roena’s passion is women’s ministry and she has spent the last 35 years leading women’s Bible studies in her home, in her church and enjoys mentoring women one on one in their faith journey.

Clarke Spain is a follower of Christ and very blessed to be married for 40 yrs. He is an active member of High Point Baptist Chapel in Pennsylvania, Founder and Partner of The Heritage Group, Inc. and board member of 58Ten, a community of Christians acting on behalf of orphans in Kenya. He loves to play golf, hunt, fish and spend time with grandkids and family.

Terrie Walton Reed, Controller, Children Incorporated

Terrie, an experienced Financial Controller is excited to participate as a Board Member for Bibles in Schools. She currently volunteers for BIS in an administrative capacity.

Terrie has previously served as a Board Member for the Pregnancy Help Center of Chesterfield in Chester, VA.

Terrie and her husband Jeff are active in their church, Open Door Baptist. In their free time they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Rosemary graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and master’s in education:Teaching and Learning - Student Services from Liberty University. She worked in higher education for 9 and a half years first in the Residential Student Advocate office and then in the parent and family connections as an Operations Coordinator. Currently, she also serves as an Online Adjunct Instructor for the College of Applied Studies and Academic Success at Liberty University. Rosemary supported Bibles in Schools from the beginning and is excited to help further the mission to donate engaging Bibles in school libraries for students and their families! She is looking forward to seeing what God has in store and knows the impact of God’s Word. She is thankful and blessed for the opportunity to serve and to be a part of the Bibles in Schools team!
